live DJ mix by Lookleft + Bearight from Holic
selective pressure residents Lookleft + Bearight took to the decks to open Holic‘s 4th anniversary celebration. The duo commenced the evening with a deep and steady set with jams from the likes of Till Von Sein, Maceo Plex, Deetron, Steffi, to name a few, before passing it on to the diynamic label boss.
Solomun‘s presence is felt on the dancefloor as he introduces himself by playing Metro Area’s classic, Miura. In typical Diynamic fashion, Solomun builds a steady set, throwing in some unreleased edits along the way to get the crowd ramped before dropping the infamous Moving Day by Diynamic’s own, David August. Solid set from the Diynamic meister.
The baton was then passed on to another important figure in the Diynamic crew, Stimming. His live set was organic and full of surprises in a way that few artists in the scene are able to achieve, reconfirming his position as one of the most innovative live performers around.
Holic top gun Tomoki Tamura took over as the clock struck four, entertaining us with a mixture of new and old driving beats that kept the floor moving. Just look at the pictures, he loved it. We loved it. Congratulations and Happy Birthday to the Holic crew!
