Toi Toi at The Red Gallery, 21.01.2011
“Toi Toi have been causing quite a storm in the capital with a series of underground parties…” as Pulse Radio describes, it was just like being in a storm which took whole night to pass over warehouse of East London, The Red Gallery.
Some might have recognized the venue name from secretsundaze NYE bash. Both party worked out great in the same space… But 2 in-identical music policies / use of rooms / lighting really made the venue as if it was different place. These 2 parties almost representing how great parties are run these days, going back to the warehouse / underground style venue.
Hands were constantly up in the air through out… Thomas Brinkmann – live, Crowdpleaser, Jan Krueger, not to forget Claus Voigtmann, resident of Toi Toi. Deep, Dark sound of Techno, then yet, sometimes DJs took it funky, experimental, always there was a space for crowds to breath and go a little crazy. Sense of excitement was certainly there, being in this extremely positive vibe was enough know that everyone was just purely having a good time.
